Hi Kevin, as you said with the take profit don't forget it. I'm fooling around with trailing stops just to see if that might be useful. I don't have much time to spare, so I'm trying to see if I can find a good set and forget strategy that allows for greater pip gains than 20. Still haven't figured out exactly how this trailing stop stuff works.

Hi Jacob,

I was trying out the trailing stops idea but mainly when say i was away from the pc for 30 mins or more. In 9 times out of ten I found that the trailing stop would kick in on a low take profit - rather than when I actually had set it. So, I would have been better off taing the profits instead of setting the trailing stops.

I'm mainly learning on the 5M and 15M time frames and as such am using the strategies Loz teaches that use these time frames. So I really am only in it for the hour or two of the trade when I catch one.

No trading for me the last couple of days - taking a break from it . But still going to be reading more about it over the Christmas holidays.

Wow - seven months later and I'm back into my Forex.

Really dissapointed that I didnt stick at it - even an hour a day but I live and learn.

Going to start back at the begining - get my confidence back up and start getting those pips.

I'll restart the journal from this point on.
