Hi Loz,
Do you have any good EAs that we can use or can you recommend any that you have tested. I've never tried any before because i've always thought they don't work, but this can't be true.

Yeh, I have one that is being used on a Forex Fund that I run.

I have another called "FX PRICE ACTION" at http://fxpriceaction.org (forum), we were running some tests solo, and it was producing good results for about 6 months (before the credit crisis), then beta testers got in, about 83 of them, all worked fine for about 2 months, then market started to go nuts...

We've put it on hold for a little while so we can get other projects sorted out, while finding some spare time to test a newer version. It wont be like the other one where it tries to pick out as many 10 pip trades as possible... If all goes well, this robot will be one for those who are patient as it wont run off the smaller time frames like before, but rather 1HR or 4HR time frames.

We have two other ideas to make a forex robot based on the Awesome Trader, Power Trades, and mingle it in with FX PRICE ACTION's strategy, and find an area where all 3 strategies say the same thing before opening a trade long or short. Visual backtesting looks ok, but will know more as we perform live environment tests.


The only other Robot I can think of, is a guy I know, who was responsible for over $60,0000,000 in sales on two robots, which apparently work...

This helps negate the emotional approach that many traders bring to their Forex trading. The trading mechanics of an EA are made simply on technical readings of market movements. This can be done in just a matter of seconds which is also something that a human would struggle to do.
